Approval / Publication

Since the technical studies have been consulted at the end of 2017 the TSOs are evaluating the results of the consultation and are coordinating with the NRAs.

Subsequently the TSOs will submit the project proposals for incremental capacity projects acc. to Art. 28 Para 1 NC CAM to the relevant NRAs for coordinated approvals. Upon the publication of the decisions of the NRAs the TSOs will publish the content of the decisions and the GT&Cs acc. to Art. 25 Para 2 and Art. 28 Para 3 NC CAM.

Most of the projects for incremental capacities will be conducted in the standard period of 2 years acc. to NC CAM, i.e. the requests for approvals will be submitted presumably at the end of the first quarter 2018/at the beginning of the second quarter 2018 to the NRAs and the NRA decisions will be available presumably six months later. The content of the decisions will then be published here by the TSOs at least 2 months ahead of the yearly capacity auctions in 2019.

A different time schedule will only be applied with regards to the process at the border of the market areas between NCG and Austria (market area east). Because of national requirements in Austria requiring to carry out the incremental process on a yearly basis, the relevant TSOs bayernets GmbH and Gas Connect Austria GmbH have already submitted at the end of November 2017 coordinated requests for approvals to its NRAs. Therefore, below the content of the NRA decisions as well as the GT&Cs to be applied for the incremental auctions at 2 July 2018 are published:
